Painting
Junkie Zone
On this art project several artist had been commissioned to paint
a room in a warehouse in Alameda for a Toyota -Scion promotion
party. Here is the flyer for it on the web.

I painted the room like one of my paintings. It was inspired from
a picture that I took on a beach in Puerto Rico. I had called the
Painting Junkie Zone, because that had been spray-painted by the
government on one of the abandoned buildings. The contrast between
beautiful nature and urban decay had been subject to my art and
for me it is is the sign of times.
